Chess @ Anderson

Did you know that….Chess improves concentration, memory, problem-solving, logical thinking, pattern recognition, good sportsmanship and self confidence?  Chess is a “sport of the mind”, through which we learn how to analyze a situation by focusing on important factors, devise a creative solution, and put a plan into action
Anderson has a very successful chess team that continues to grow every year!
Some of our team accomplishments last year included:
2013 K-3 U700 New York City Champions
2013 K-3 U800 2nd Place – Nationals
